Some Ads Aren't What They Appear

Dear Bullseye Customer:

Thank you for contacting us regarding our holiday catalog advertising depicting an adult male baking cookies with a pre-adolescent boy.  While it might appear to be a father and son enjoying some pre-holiday fun, actually it's the boy's mother's boyfriend, who, unbeknownst to her, is a registered sex offender grooming the child for impending abuse.  The boy's mother is away working two jobs because the father left her for an exotic dancer and spent the child support money on a new sportscar.  The boy's father is a no-good, deadbeat, child-abusing domestic violence perpetrator who never comes around, so naturally the child is drawn to a charismatic sociopath.  Under the colorful apron (available at Bullseye for $14.99) he's not wearing any pants.

We at Bullseye endeavor to reflect the real-life experiences of our customers in our advertising.  Please watch for our upcoming "Affording Christmas Even When You're Not Getting Any Child Support from the Ex" campaign.

Thank you for your interest.

Sincerely,
Bullseye Marketing Dept.
